Announcing a new Introductory Sore Horse and Bodywork Workshop in Hawkes Bay on Saturday 19th March 2022 Get in quick, as spaces will be limited!
This is a one-day workshop, beginning at 9am and finishing at approximately 4pm.
It will cover a basic introduction to my horse philosophy, horse rehabilitation and practical skills to take home.
I’ll begin with a talk about how to get the best out of the workshop. After this the workshop gets practical and hands-on, as I work through the issues that each horse presents with. Discussion topics include teeth management, foot balance, the importance of saddle fit, sheath cleaning, massage and some basic techniques that people can take home with them. I will fully adjust and treat the horses presented, talk through before and current issues and show how we would continue in a rehabilitation program for each horse.
$150 per person
If you would like your horse to be considered to take part in the workshop please advise at registration.
The cost for a horse to participate is $350, and also includes your entry - you will not be required to ride, or even hold your horse during the workshop while I treat him, and I will ride the horses where I can.
