Introductory Sore Horse and Bodywork Workshop - NZ

14th July 2018
Christchurch

“I came away armed with lots of knowledge on how to help my horse towards a more comfortable future. This would have to be the best workshop I've attended” Sue, Melbourne “The workshop was jam-packed with useful information, and I especially appreciated the hands-on opportunities! - Kathy, Lexington, USA”

This is a one-day practical and interactive workshop, beginning at 9am and finishing at 3.30pm. The workshop will cover a basic introduction to my horse philosophy and working with the sore horses we will identify and treat the issues we find.

The day begins with a philosophy overview and talk about how to get the best out of the workshop. After this the workshop gets practical and hands-on, as I work through the issues that each of the workshop horses present.

Discussion topics include teeth management, foot balance, the importance of saddle fit, sheath cleaning, massage and some basic techniques that people can take home with them. Where possible, l try to ride each horse before and after treatment, explaining what I’m feeling and how we can correct some of these issues when you leave the workshop.

This is a practical and interactive workshop that you get as much out of as a fence sitter as you do a sore horse owner.

Due to the limited time we have in the day I can only accept up to 7 sore horses.
