OUR PURPOSE
The VWNZ breeding program is built on a foundation of quality bloodlines, correct conformation, and smart, workable minds, with a clear vision to produce horses of international calibre. Each horse is bred with the talent to compete on the world stage, while also possessing the trainability and temperament to succeed across a wide range of disciplines.
Set in the stunning landscape of Hawke’s Bay, our program allows young horses to grow and mature naturally in open country, promoting strong mental and physical development. By giving them time and space to flourish, we ensure our horses are not only exceptional athletes, but also sound, willing partners prepared for long, successful careers.
With homebred horses already produced up to World Cup and Grand Prix level with success, many of our progeny consistently excelling in the competition ring, and a growing number sold overseas, we are dedicated to continually refining our bloodlines each year - striving to produce a selection of sound, happy, and quality horses.
